A celebrant‑led ceremony gives you complete freedom. It can be joyful and light‑hearted, deeply meaningful, simple, traditional, modern, or a blend of everything that feels right to you.
Some couples want a ceremony filled with laughter and stories. Others prefer something gentle and reflective. Many want a balance of both. Whatever your style, I’ll help you shape a ceremony that feels natural and comfortable, never staged or stiff.

Feeling prepared for the day
My aim is for you to feel calm, confident, and fully supported as your wedding day approaches. Before the ceremony, we’ll talk through the order of the day together so you know exactly what to expect — entrances, timings, cues, and all the little details that help everything flow smoothly.
If you’d like a full run‑through with your wedding party, that’s absolutely something we can do. Some couples find it really helpful, especially if children or symbolic elements are involved. If your venue allows it, I’m very happy to be there to guide everyone through the ceremony step by step.
Whether it’s a simple talk‑through or a full practice, my aim is always the same: to help you feel relaxed, prepared, and able to enjoy the moment.
Symbolic Rituals and Meaningful Touches
Many couples like to include a small symbolic moment within their ceremony, something that marks the occasion in a personal and memorable way. As part of my standard service, I include the signing of a commemorative certificate, which gives you a lovely keepsake and a moment to pause together during the ceremony.
You’re welcome to include any symbolic elements that feel right for you. These might be:
- handfasting
- candle lighting
- ring warming
- sand ceremonies
- tree planting
- sharing a drink or toast
- cultural or family traditions
- involving children or loved ones
